EPAM is looking for a motivated professional to join us within the position of a Senior/Lead Adobe EM Developer. The successful candidate will be involved into redesign and migration of the existing web application to the new technology stack (Above EM/CQ).
The project has massive integration flows with different in-house services and AEM components development is carried out according to customer’s requirements. Cloud deployment to Amazon is provided.
One of the site channels has already migrated to the AEM platform and therefore the team has recently performed the following tasks:
• Implementation of classes supporting new components - code is well-structured and presentation is decoupled from the model;

• Implementation of the OSGi components/services;
• Integration with various in-house services.

- 3+ years’ experience in Java/J2EE technologies;
- Understanding of continuous delivery principles;
- English of at least Upper-Intermediate speaking level – constant communication with the customer is provided;
- Web services, strong understanding of REST principles;
- Front-end development skills: CSS + JavaScript, experience in usage of JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, jQuery, ExtJS) is a big plus;
- Good understanding of web-application development principles: web-performance best practices, http protocol, session management;
- Build frameworks (Maven, Ant, Gradle);
- Understanding of key concepts of developing content management solutions;
- Experience in working with applications (Tomcat, JBoss) and web servers (Apache, IIS);
- Version control systems (Git, Subversion).

Plus experience:
- Experience leading a team (3-4 developers);
- Possibility and desire to go on short-term (1 week long) business trips to the UK;
- Experience in Adobe EM/CQ/Day CQ development or related technologies: Jackrabbit, Apache Sling, Apache Felix;
- Understanding of responsive and mobile design concepts and principles;
- Good negotiation skills.

Technology and Tools:
- Adobe CQ 5.6;
- CI: Jenkins + Maven;
- Infrastructure: Amazon Cloud (supported by Cloud Operations team);
- Version control: Git;
- Process: 2 week Scrum + Mingle.

- Direct communication with customer’s stakeholders: BA, Product Owner, Project Managers;
- Team coordination and tasks distribution;
- Development planning according to business priorities;
- Managing dependencies with other teams;
- Implement solutions for digital consumer experiences based on the foundational Adobe AEM/CQ product suite, including CQ, CRX/CRXDE, CQ WCM, DAM;
- Technical problems resolution, critical thinking on development approach;
- Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management implementation;
- Adopt and utilize iterative/Agile methodology as needed or requested.
