How to accept basic code suggestions and becoming good at using GitHub Copilot is not the same thing at all. At the very beginning of my Microsoft GH-300 exam preparation journey I discovered that my knowledge was quite limited, as I simply accepted the first suggestion that it offered me without analyzing anything.
In order to take my skills to the next level, I had to stop using it only as an auto-completion tool. Instead, I began to ask it to explain codes that I have already written, to write whole functions and even to help me find solutions to difficult bugs. However, there is one thing you need to know about AI-written code, it can look absolutely correct and still be completely wrong.
It completely transformed my preparation methodology for Microsoft GitHub Copilot Certification Exam. In order to identify my weaknesses, I used some Microsoft GH-300 exam questions for self-evaluation. Whenever I encountered a mistake in the question, I didn't simply memorize the right answer, but returned to my IDE to practice that particular topic. I also had the platform for my additional exam preparation Pass4Future, which made it quite easy for me to track my progress. Just keep in mind that Microsoft GH-300 practice exams are merely way for identifying your weak areas.
Looking at what worked for me, practicing in the actual code and learning from my mistakes worked best. If you are preparing for MIcrosoft GitHub Copilot exam, make sure that you review Microsoft GH-300 exam questions well enough to grasp the exam pattern, but don't forget about practical work.
What is the toughest part of GitHub Copilot for you to learn and why?
