Календарь остался старый, не? Все больше похоже на аутлук кстати)

В целом, календарь остался старым - ссылка ведет на inotes.
Но при отображении почты внизу появилась календарная линейка часов за текущий день, кликнув по нужному часу, можно создать новое календарное событие. Вот там форма события новая, в современном виде, и где поиск свободного времени сразу предлагает доступные варианты.

Да, пока Verse не допилили до конца. Но можно уже предлагать пользователям, кто больше привык к интерфейсу почты на мобильном устройстве или планшете.

Domino

1) Optionally Move Views outside of NSF for Increased data store in NSF.
This feature is useful for large databases and provides the following benefits:
- A smaller database file size, to avoid reaching the 64GB limitation.
- Faster database backup and restore.
- Better performance by allowing concurrent access to database and views.
2) Java Upgrade to 1.8.
The Java run time environment provided with Domino has been upgraded to Java JRE version 1.8 to provide you with access to the latest features.
3) Optionally Increase Document Summary Data (SPR #AKNX64TLRS APARID: LO04193)
You can increase the document summary data limit on Notes 9 databases to 16MB from 64K. (The size limit for a single field remains 32 K.)
4) Add support for ADFS 3.0 and update the corresponding Cookbook instructions for configuration.

1) Optionally Add Show Options: "Group By Date" And "Beginning Of Message", To Desktop Policy Settings (SPR #JSTN98BP3T APARID: LO75595)
Administrators can add the notes.ini setting EnableGroupByDate=1 on mail servers to enable the Show > Group By Date option in all mail files.

2) Optionally Retain MIME formatting when forwarding or replying to internet messages
A notes.ini setting is now available for Notes Standard clients to retain MIME message formatting when users reply to or forward messages received from the internet. Without this setting, MIME messages are converted to Notes Rich Text which can cause some MIME formatting to be lost.

3) Optionally Enable displaying internet addresses in mail and calendar documents
You can enable internet addresses rather than Notes addresses to display in the Notes client mail and calendar. For example, display sdaryn@renovations.com rather than Samantha Daryn/Renovations@Renovations. To enable this feature, add the following setting to the notes.ini file on a Notes client $INETADDRESSFIXUP=1

Железо слабое. Старые ОС, старый (помимо Домины) и непереносимый уже никуда софт. Переводить на 64-битные ОС - кровяка страшная... Денег нет, но держались вот пока...

сподобились запилить 8-ую jvm и вынос индексов

Ага - дизайнер допилят в FP9 )

Что сказать - я думал что индексы они сделают по кол-ву вьюх в базе( Они запилили в одну... Конечно же доступ к базе стал легче - но а нафига писать в базу если все равно надо что то читать? ) Короче если несколько апдейтеров лезут к индексу - то тормоза еще те.
Размер - в среднем на моих базах объем индексов и базы поделился на 60/40 - ну радует конечно.
Способ вкл. сего чуда то же удивил - надо дать команду load compact -c -nifnsf on db.nsf.
Как будто эта база богом забытая и нифига никому не нужна. Ест-сно компакт слетает по причине ее занятости и по правильному эту процедуру надо проводить на загашенном сервере, что в моем случае означает от 8 часов до 1,5 суток простоя серверов.
Но справедливости ради - признак nifnsf остается на базе - и тестирую запуск compact db.ns -REPLICA.
И тут же опять засада - после опции -REPLICA индексы битые получаются и надо делать updall -R
По ощущениям - доступ из клиента по вьюшкам стал шустрей.

PS - часть серверов перевел - поглядим в боевом режиме.

Есть подозрение, что из за java библиотек, которые под jre6. в связи с этим вопросы:
1 - нужно ли перекомпиллировать библиотеки под jre8 или использовать соотв версии (например JDBC postgres)
2 - есть ли возможность использования java 6 на сервере

Судя по тому, что последний травелер тоже лагает под FP8, то думаю стоит использовать версии библиотек 1,7+

Ну так и есть.
Сами IBM пишут, что для работы с DB2 и MSSQL под FP8 с травелером надо обновлять библиотеки для совместимости.

Про старую версию jvm - проверте, есть ли на сервере папка \jvm1.6\ или как-то так.
Там лежит старая версия, на клиенте такая папка есть. Подозреваю, что изменив свойства проекта на использование JRE из этой папки или переместив либы на сервере в EXT этой папки - все может заработать.

Дак - у меня как бы классик веб приложение с обычными вызовами агентов и там LS2J есть.
Как заставить при этом использовать старый JRE ?

Похоже никак... такая папка есть только на клиенте, потому что на нем нет 1.8
Среду выполнения полностью обновили до 8-ки, а среду разработки только планируют..

Похоже ява 8 еще не допилинная. Таки падает http стек. Соседний сервер чисто с фоновыми агентами с теми же ява-библами работает вторую неделю.
Кто может прочитать NSD от linux 64 bit ? что бы хоть понять - отчего оно рушится...

А в последних (FP8IF1) обновлениях убрали постоянную индексацию для определенных видов чтоли??
была фичка же типа такой - load updall soid.nsf -T#5 "all_work_docs_on_parent"
При попытке запустить выдаёт инфу что нет такого параметра((
